PS3 is the clearly dominate of the consoles in terms of limit and ability
it has technology that developers have just began to experiment with, its limit has still not been discovered
it has a great selection of games, as other consoles dont have many that interest the wide variety of people
lbp, resistance, killzone, uncharted and warhawk are some of the many great exclusives it has to offer

overall IMO, the PS3 is and will stay a dominate console in the future, as morons dont see its potential currently, and sony will continue to dominate the console war as it has in the past

Anyways PS3, I am fan of Sony's console the Playstation.

As for the PS3, the only game that has wowed me exclusiveley for PS3 is Metal Gear Solid 4, and that's it. I expect more of the PS3. Hopefully on the following years

It is just too soon to say who and what will lead and dominate the current generation of gaming consoles. Developers have stated since the launch of the Ps3 that the dev kits are not easy to work with for various reasons. Technology means shit when it comes to the real entertainment a console can provide (compare the previous generation of gaming. i.e. Xbox and Ps2, the Xbox was clearly far superior to the Ps2 technologically speaking), and the library of games got fully reduced thanks to the lame ass developers Sony has to provide real and actual backwards compatibility like they have always promised way back since the Ps2 came out and in the current revision of the console backwards compatibility doesn't even exist anymore.

Currently, almost more than 90% of the developing companies produce their games for all the current platforms. If I recall correctly, the only game worth playing on the Ps3 that the 360 doesn't have is MGS4. Besides that, all games can be playable in any current console. So, things are just too soon to predict.

but 360 has gears(something that is temtping me to buy a 360), star ocean and banjo kazooie just to name a few i enjoy

the wii shouldnt be counted in the console war because it has nothing anyone over the age of nine will enjoy, every game on the wii aimed at an older audience has failed miserably imo

if nobody can recognize anything other than MGS4(worth 2 playthroughs imo BTW) then i dont see any reason why you have any reason or logic to say something

Actually your all wrong. PS3 is dying. The sales statistics indicate that Sony sold less copies this year than last year, being nearly cut in half. The Wii is somewhat in the lead, but the real console ahead will be the X box 360. Until God Of War III comes out, Sony is going to face hardships when it comes to their console.

I've been through the console wars back since the NES. All I'm saying is, that it is too soon to say which will be the dominant one through the years to come. I doubt that's being single minded about the whole idea...

I didn't say it was over, it's that they're going to have to try harder to keep our interests in their console.

PS3 is a great console but he needs mores games to convince people to buy it. In a few years, PS3 will kick wii's and xbox 360's butt!!!

Yea but Playstation need more games to attract the public but I agree with Sky God of War 3 will increased the sale alot.

After God Of War III that's it for Kratos. They said this is their final game for the GOW series. If they were smart, they should make more sequels.

Sony needs to make a similar game to Gears of War & Halo. That is better and gorrier. It will atract alot of people to buy sony in that game

sony is normally cool even if your warranty runs out if it breaks, heard of people and friends who just call up sony act sad about it and they most of the time will send u a refurbished one

and its definitely worth it, a game system, dvd player, and blu ray player all in one

Okay, It is worth buying. I like the feature called: PlayStation Home. It is fun Yep, Sony is the only game system company that will replace it if your warranty is up Microsoft won't, neither will nintendo.

IMO home? Are you talking about PlayStation Home, Well you can run around and dance and chat. I don't buy anything. Though they do make good profit off of it

well they just added xi. it's an ARG on home that is very imterestimg if you think you're smart and have some extra time. they release updates for it almost daily and if you don't want to think it through yourself you can always find answers online

and if you want to look into console sales, look globally. the ps3 has outsold the xbox in every country except some in North America. and just MGS4? whew lol killzone=game of the year! and warhawk. and please tell me you've heard about an upcoming game called MAG. 250 people playing together online in a single game. it's something only the ps3's processor can handle. so that's my two cents on home and ps3 vs xbox
