Movie Games

Post by Sky on Wed Apr 01, 2009 11:27 pm

Who in here thinks that when they create a game based on a Moive sucks and it is a very short storyline?

I do

Games like that are a waste of money, for example...
Star Wars III: The Revenge of the Sith.

I bought that game when I went to USA for the first time for PS2, and I was psyched with that movie. When I played it, It was kinda fun, but then again it got bored. I beat it in 3 days (without adding the times I turned it off) Co-Op was good, but still all MOVIE GAMES don't go well, and most of the time they suck.

What is yopur opinion?

I think the same, well most of the time. Im sure there has been at least 2 games based on a movie that were actually good.

Its not the games, it's the movies. It's hard to modify movie based games because the publishers don't want them to divert from the main storyline and leaves developers little to no breathing room.

Yeah, you guys are right. Unfortunately, movie-based games have a low budget production. And, the developers that are normally hired lack the creative input needed to create anything worth playing-

I think Spider-man 3 isn't horrible, even though I spent a lot of money on it.
